Our Shared Services have been developed with cost efficiency in mind. Our different departments work closely together in order to provide an optimised service at all times, both for brands and for retailers.
Day after day, we aim to offer the best quality and service to the brands that we represent and to retail customers. This not only involves core sales & marketing tasks, but also a whole series of supporting and complementary tasks, all of which are crucial to achieving this objective over and over again.
Products must be delivered at the requested time, our stock must be optimised, with the correct use-by date, the right labels to suit the country's specific requirements, declarations to the various authorities must be carried out in compliance with the country's specific regulations, local taxes must be paid, … we will ensure that everything runs smoothly right up to the store.
Cost efficiency and teamwork for an optimal service come naturally to us. Pietercil manages more than 90 brands.

- Customer service
Our Customer Service department maintains excellent relations with all of its customers, which is reflected in our high level of customer satisfaction. The CS department handles your customer orders for a variety of flows, covering both standard orders and promotions. The GS1 standards are our reference when receiving the order, right through to invoicing.
We ensure that every delivery is conducted properly, respecting the customer's specific wishes. With most of our customers and all of our logistics service providers we use EDI messaging (Electronic Data Interchange); stock management for the retail customer (VMI – Vendor Management Inventory) is also among the options.
Using demand planning tools, Pietercil Group takes care of an optimised sales forecast that is translated into an optimised order forecast. We perform full purchasing management (from order placement to delivery tracking, clearance and invoice control), inbound-transport management and stock management (follow-up in accordance with the FIFO/FEFO principle, OOS management, …), incl. consignment stocks. With our expertise in special handling management, we can guarantee the flawless organisation and tracking of the production of your displays and promotional packs. If required, your products will be repacked into smaller formats or relabelled, for example with an adapted list of ingredients, in order to comply with the wishes of distributors and/or legislation.
Our logistics partners are selected based on their specific flow (ambient, chilled, frozen, ADR, …) and depending on their location. For many years, we have been working in partnership with specialists in FMCG logistics. All processes and procedures are continuously guaranteed thanks to detailed logistics manuals, and are established in watertight contracts with clear SLA agreements. In addition to this, all of our logistics partners are GSFI certified (BRC and/or IFS). All stock movements between Pietercil and the logistics service provider are managed with EDI messaging, which optimises the stock follow-up. Thanks to the wide range of brands and products, a variety of logistical synergies result in lower logistical costs. The costs are allocated by brand with a simple code at brand level.
Finally, we also have specific contracts with the major pallet pooling partners (such as Chep, LPR and IPP).
- Supply Chain Reporting
Thanks to analysis, with a variety of reports and dashboards, we frequently optimise the various logistical flows in an aim to achieve our ultimate goal of controlling and reducing our logistics costs. This allows us to optimise our stocks and minimise slow moving and obsolete stock.
Using specific KPI tools, we measure service with most of our customers, in our mission to make very focused adjustments to increase the service level. Fines must be kept to a minimum and OOS must be avoided.
- Legal services
Pietercil Group has its own legal department where we check regulatory & Belgian compliance. We check what is and what is not allowed when it comes to packaging and promotions on the local markets. We are also your trusted business partner for contract management, insurance contracts, but also for intellectual property.
Thanks to PBIS, Pietercil Group has its own extremely flexible and effective reporting system. We set up automated reports in no time. This gives us strong insights into the business.
